Our Company

Adriatic Sea Kayak Expeditions (ASKE) was founded on the Island of Rab in the winter of 2004 by Josko Matusan-Jogi. His goal was,and still is, to present and preserve the Croatian nature and customs on the Islands of Adriatic sea.Together,with a help of the local island people he create,not just an ordinery trip tour ,but trip that will show to other people the beauty and hardnes of living on this jewels of nature.

In the world of mass tourism,our company is not interested in satisfying the masses but in offering our knowledge and what we appreciate most to genuine nature lovers. Thats why our long trip groups sizes are small ( 8-10 ) and our guides are those who makes the company.

We are contributing to the local economy using the organic food that is produced by local family's or companies.

Our wide tour packages of sea kayaking adventures means that we offer something to suit all levels of ability,like relaxploration tour for novice ,to experienced paddlers with trips like Adriatic Odyssey Tour.

There is no single surcharge for single participants and children from 16.y.o. are welcomed with the parents approval.

We are updating our website throught the year with new events ,trips ,detailed itineraries and ,offcourse , with photography.

Green Side

We are using only the biodegradable liquids and soap's for dish washing and showering. While paddleing,any plastic object in the sea will be collected and proceeded for recycling. After camping on the remote beaches we allways check out if there is anything that we have left behind,'cause we allways leave something,and that's are our footprints.

Our Guides

Our guides are experienced paddlers and some of them have a few other hobby's like mountaineering, cycling , speleology,photography and others.

To ensure that you will have a safe trip our guides possess the First Aid certificate.

We also have a wintertime searching team who is in charge for seeking the new destinations across the whole Adriatic Sea.That's why our guides know almost all Islands like the palm of their hands and thats why our clients are coming back for new adventures.

Our guide to client ratio is 1:5 but we almost always have two guides on each trip.

Our Gear

Our gear is something that makes our company pride.Each person will receive a 60 lit. dry bag ,one small dry bag,PFD,Ferrino sleeping bag and Self-inflating airbed,LED lamp for tent and some more items like cups and dishes.We have 3 person tent but we use it for two 'cause comfort is our motto.
